Ambassade du Cameroun en Belgique
The session aims at presenting key initiatives taken by Cameroon to ensure sustainable and inclusive local growth. The objective is to show that the reference framework of the development vision of Cameroon by 2035, gives primary importance to sustainable development issues. As an emerging country, democratic and united in its diversity, Cameroon offers interesting opportunities for partners who wish to support Local Authorities in consolidating decentralization, as provided by the Growth and Employment Strategy Paper. With the participation at the recent Rio+ Summit, an emphasis will be put at the government actions towards the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals with their implementation at the local level.
